when going to the office, or going to a place you will visit what is your usual means of transport? a car? do you drive it? a jeep? bus? train? With me, my usual transport is a motorcycle. me and my husband usually goes to work together so he drives it and i”m a back ride. its kinda fast since we can go to shortcuts. but when i have a different schedule i go to work alone thats the time i use public transportation.i ride a tricycle first. then a jeep, then a bus, then a train (MRT). 4 different means of transport. but when i dont want to go up and down those vehicles, i eliminate the train, i should be an hour early so i wont be late. i”ll just ride the tricycle, the jeep then the bus to the office.how about you jonathanlewisforcongress.comters, what are your means of transportation?
My means of transportation to work is my car. Even though I have taken the bus, cab and subway a long time ago. I”m thankful for my car even though gas is high. There is nothing like being able to leave when you get ready and not having to wait for your transportation.

Bus or train… If I”m in a rush, I”ll take a train or taxi. I”ve always dreamed about cycling to work but there are too many cars here and it”s dangerous to cycle on highways..
Taxi is getting very expensive too so I usually try to take bus or train. I hate to take bus or train as it”s always so… crowded..
hi poohgalyou are right. train are so crowded. here, at the time of the rush hour, commuters occupy even the stairs and sometimes even 1/4 of the highway. it even cause traffics.but train are really fast compared to bus.thanks
its just 5 or less minute drive for work from my boarding house, i have my motorcycle with me, i find it more handy than having a ride from the public transportation even though im a woman, and it still safe here to ride your own!!but when it rains and cant drive and i might soaked up from rain i ride trycycle for work!!!
hi!wow you drive your own motorcycle. thats cool, i wish my husband will teach me. haahhahatake care
thank you!!my dad taught me how to drive when i was on my 2nd year high school, and also my older brother, he taught me!!!and mostly all my friends know how to drive also!!we have this organization where all of us drives our own motorcycle!!and tell your husband to teach you!!its really cool!!!
wow that”s really cool.yeah, i”m always asking my husband to teach me, but we dont have a common restday so he cant teach me as of now
I don”t have any other business here in Manila but to go to school. So I ride a tricycle to Anonas Station. Ride the ever reliable chic-filled LRT2, Go down at recto station and ride my favorite jeepney route which brings me closer to my school reducing the walking distance.
Nope. I study in Mapua in intramuros. Yeah. I”m very fortunate that LRT2 exists. So far it is the best rail transit in the Philippines.
u r right but alot of days i just don”t feel like getting out but i really do like to be at home. best place in the world to be in my opinion.
Right now, I bum rides everywhere! I don”t like asking people for anything, so I just mainly stay at home and try n get up finances to buy another car! Loss both of my vehicles due to financial issues so, I”m back at it again!Taripre$
Yeah, I”m working on it, need to get around! Have to go shopping, get out the house, go out, yeah it pretty much sucks, but I”ll get it together!Taripre$
Hi deari have car and i use it to commute to my officeeven if i have to go some where even then i use it. Thats alland i hope u always want to go with ur hubby as changing 4 mode of transport is hectic and irritating and sure need lot of timeTake care
hi cupid, yes, even when i can go home earlier, i would just wait for him saves time and money
I live in zamboanga city, philippines and it is a very small city so there are just two types of public transportation that is very common here and that is the tricycle and the jeep.. so if you want cheaper fare go for the jeep but if you want to be comfortable then it is the tricycle then. My office is just near our home and it is accessible by either of the two so when i feel lazy and wants to be comfortable i go for the tricycle..hehe and if i am being frugal i go for the jeep which costs less or if i do not have any fare hahaha i go to the office with my husband, i have to go with him earlier…so he can take me to the office and he has a motorcycle 😀
hi jazel_juantricycle is very common in the province. when i went to pangasinan, tricycle is the only means of transportation when going to the barrios.take care
really? well here its really a city and thats really our majoy mode of transportation hehe… you seldom find taxis here…they tried implementing taxis here but it did not succeed probably because its expensive plus the city is so small…
hello there red_amethyst,looks like you”re my fellow kababayan…lolanyway, to get to my school I usually ride a tricycle then a jeep that would take me to the train station which is the LRT2, then from there on after boarding the train I would be then transferring to another tricycle until i reach my school.
I use public transportation to go to work and back home. I first ride on a tricycle, then a jeepney, then another jeepney and finally another jeepney! That”s quite a lot but I got used to it for the past seven years. My brother has a car but I can just ride with him when he”s on my way to work or if we go to the mall or grocery store. Nowadays that the fare is still up, I just don”t know how to save my transportation expenses. But as much as possible id I go to one place, I see to it that everything that I have to do there must be done so that I need not to go back again and waste money.
i always take the bus as i dont have a driving lessons. also the bus is more environmentallty friendly and it costs less then my own car would
When I go to office, I usually take a jeep or tricycle. When we go to mall, usually it took us 45 minutes, so we used to ride on a bus.
I used car. I drive a car when I go to work shopping of visiting some friends. Before, I had a bicycle. It only last for a year. My husband and I decided to sell it because I wont need it anymore. Felt bad though it was his birthday gift for me. But as an exchange of my bicycle, it was a car.
well usually i take my bike or my brother”s one to go around.. if its an unlucky day.. i often have to walk all my way from work to home.. not that its long but i have been easing myself on my bike quite often that the prospect of physical exertion strains me…
Wow!! this reminds me of my transportation before I came to the US. hahaha.. yes, tricycle, jeepney.. those were my rides before going to work. But now, I have noc choice but to stay home for a while because there is no jeep, tricycle or bus in the place where I am now. We have cars at home but I never drive because I”m scared on the road. My hubby will be the driver. hahaha I am still practicing but, I get nervous when I am in the heavy traffic. I miss the tricycle and jeepney rides.
My work place is quite near where i live… so when it is not hot… i just walk going to the office… but if it is… then i ride the tricycle… it only like a three minute ride… so i never need to hurry… but going home… i would always just walk… so that serves as my mini exercise everyday…
Gas costs high nowadays. I use to drive my way to school and to the malls but now I commute if I am the only one going. We use the car rarely, only on occasions when the family goes out. We have to be practical, economic crises are everywhere. We need to save up for the future.
Before we have our own car I usually ride on jeepneys, on tricycle on buses, on trains, taxi and FX, name it and I definitely had a ride in it.
