Went up to hear a band that my husband loves. MA had recently lifted COVID-19 mask for vaccinated citizens so we decided to go. City Winery did an amazing job hold the gathering with excellent social distancing, limited crowd, plenty of staff and they were…excellent and attentive. The venue is awesome and offered lots of options for food and drinks. I was so glad that we made the trip. I was concerned about crowds but City Winery did an excellent job keeping all safe. Super clean and lots of room. Excellent Job. We’ll be back If you are considering going to a show do not hesitate. GO!More

We had a wonderful visit here! We came on the second night that they opened since COVID so overall it was dead. Our waitress was very attentive and a pleasure to have a conversation with. I recommend trying out the New England clam chowder and…any of the red wines.More

Stopped in on a quiet weeknight to meet 2 girlfriends for dinner and gossip. What a disappointment this turned out to be ! The skeleton staff they had working (7pm) was super slow and completely disengaged – no refills on our water glasses and our…wine orders took forever (both orders). Dining room lighting was a bit strong and there was no background music. The final straw was that our simple food order did not get communicated to the kitchen and we ended up waiting over and hour for a flatbread and a side dish. Beautiful space but city winery will never get our business again.More

Hello,Thank you for taking the time to write and share your review. I'm so sorry you weren't able to enjoy your time with us. It looks like we fell far short of expectations with our service. Would you be open to reaching out to…More
I was diagnosed with a grave illness and I could not get either a refund or a gift certificate for 4 tickets even though I let them know several weeks in advance. Not good business practice for unusual circumstances. When you purchase tickets, know that…they will not help you out at all.More
We had a group that did a tour/tasting and then sat for dinner. The tour was awesome, super interesting and the tour guide was great! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! The concert venues looked so cool, I will definitely be back!
This place is trying to be a cozy, charming small music venue but the result is an artificial environment. To top it off, the service is just AWFUL. I've been here a few times, and trying to get a glass of wine or water refill,…or anything is just painful. On top of that, no one on the waitstaff is equipped to speak to anything on the wine list, even though the establishment is “City Winery”. I wish the artists I love would stop booking shows here!More
We were there for “The Lords of 42nd Street”. The band was great, food was yummy and the service terrific. Check this out if you are in Boston. The location is very close to the T.

One rainy evening I came for an event and stayed for the food. Service was attentive and good. Questions were answered promptly and I ordered. The Kale Caesar Salad was tasty with just enough dressing and seasoning. The burger was tender and flavorful and the…fries just right. Try the wine and find the perfect pairing for yourself. The Petite Syrah was a favorite.More
First visit here, but been to the the City Winery Chicago location and very consistent operation. Nice bar to hang out before and after any music, and there's not a bad seat in the showroom. We didn't have any of the food, but they have…a good menu to choose from. Nice night out!More
Hi Irish_Willow1, Thank you for passing along your feedback. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your night out with us! We look forward to hosting you again soon!
A couple weeks ago I went with a group of six to dinner. We had a show to get to in the Theater District after, and were looking forward to a nice meal beforehand. Earlier in the week the restaurant had called the person who…made the reservation, and there was a snafu. The reservation almost got canceled, but the manager patched things up. We were a little nervous when we got there that there could be a problem. On the contrary, Thomas, the manager, was incredible. He treated us incredibly well, gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne, was attentive (in addition to the waitstaff, who were very good). The meal was excellent and we were felt so welcome. A+ to Thomas Fallon for his 5-star treatment of our party. He turned what could've been a misstep by the restaurant into a positive. We will definitely be coming back and sharing the experience with friends. Bravo on fabulous customer service and a great restaurant!More
