It only takes a moment to turn on the news or scroll through our feeds to find a space so full of heartache and despair and unimaginable tragedies outside of our own front doors. Sometimes the heartache is inside our own front doors. Sometimes it is held in our own minds of past or current pain. It is easy to be swept up in a spiral of sadness. In a loud, often harsh world, I think it is now more important than ever to lift one another up. Tell someone what they mean to you. Tell yourself what you mean to you. Offer small acts of kindness. Offer words with meaningful depth. Start your day with affirmations that can make such a positive change in our lives. We all need the reminders that all is going to be okay. Sometimes the greatest contribution we can give to the world is how we carry ourselves in it.

You don’t live on the surface, people want to know you in the deep. You carry yourself lightly and wear your scars not as weights but as symbols of a life lived to its edges. You are generous. People seek your light. You make the room more beautiful. It is stunning how you shine. You are love, joy, abundance and an ambassador of kindness. The most striking type of success. Relentless, ever hopeful, ever courageous, you won’t lie down and never stop seeking what is right and good. You are a tigress and your power has only just begun to unleash. Your confidence travels. Your laughter contagious. Your voice inspires. Your soul roars. Own it. Own it all. No need to contain yourself dear one. You were made to shake this world.
Repeat daily. Change the world. It starts with you, your morning, your thoughts, your story, your journey and has a ripple effect outward. So let’s make it a good one.
