Fortnite”sSeason 5, Week10 challenges are live. Once again, players are tasked with searching between three points—this timenear Lazy Links in the central-northern portion of the map.
These are the last batch of challenges forFortnite: Battle Royale”sfifth season. With Season 6 just around the corner, it”s time to wrap up as many challenges as possible to get your Battle Pass up to Tier 100 and unlock the awesome Ragnarok Outfit.
If you”re already at Tier 100, every challenge you complete will earn you XP, unlocking new custom styles for the Drift and Ragnarok skins.
See all of Season 5, Week 10″s challenges and how to solve them here. Here”s where to find 7 jigsaw puzzle pieces in basements.
This week”s “Search Between” challenge asks us to search between a covered bridge, a waterfall and the 9th green in Lazy Link”s golf course. That last one is the first clue as to where you should begin your search. The 9th green is located on the northeastern edge of the golf course, just east of the club house and tennis courts.
Lazy Links, you may recall, replaced Anarchy Acres when Season 5 began. It was added to the map at the same time as the Viking Village and the desert area (where you can find another Season 5 “Search Between” challenge from Week 2.)
In any case, here”s where you want to search, right on the western edge of square G2:
Let”s zoom in a little.
Right smack dab in the middle of the covered bridge, waterfall and 9th green you have a little patch of dirt between a small shack and a tree. This is where you”ll find the hidden Battle Star worth an entire tier toward your Battle Pass.
You can see the covered bridge to the south of this location, spanning the banks of the shallow river that flows to the waterfall. The 9th green is located to the west of the hidden Battle Star on the eastern edge of the golf course next to Lazy Links. And finally, the waterfall is flowing off the edge of the map into the surrounding sea just tothe west of Risky Reels.
I”ve made a short video guide to help you find the hidden Battle Star. Check it out below:
As always, this will be a dangerous area especially for the first day or two after these challenges go live. One way to avoid all this peril is to play in Soaring 50s where you”ll most likely be with your own team members. Even in Solo, however, running in and grabbing the Battle Star is doable. A lot of times, other players will be so focused on getting the star that they won”t notice you, though it”s always a risk.
It”s also an opportunity. If you need to wrap up some elimination challenges, camping out by the Battle Star”s location can be a good way to grief your foes. It”s a cheap shot, but there are no rules against cheap shots.
In any case, this is the last Search Between challenge of Season 5. Season 6 is just around the corner. Hopefully you can reach Tier 100 before the season is up!
